Peter Idoko has over 23 years experience in Maintenance & Production Engineering in Oil and Gas industries and over 10 years of Power Generation and Commercial management. He has spent the past 5 years developing and building the reliability organisation, programmes, capacity, capability and strategies for driving reliability improvements in different organizations.
In addition to embedding the standard Reliability tools (RCAs, RCMs, etc), Peter drove establishment of innovative technologies and processes like Smart technology for real time remote monitoring & diagnostics of critical equipment, Causal Learning investigations and structured threat management to improve production and equipment reliability and operational efficiency. He plays Global role in driving functional improvement projects in various areas of reliability. He is currently Shell Principal Technical Expert, Reliability in Maintenance, Reliability & TurnAround and in the role of Manager Reliability Engineering and Asset Solution.
Peter holds Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical from University of Nigeria and MBA in Finance and Operations Research from University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is a Fellow of Nigerian Society of Engineers; Member, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN); CMRP, and Member of APEGA, Canada.
