Dr Geeta Trehan is a specialist General Practitioner holding fellowships of the RACGP as well She did her primary qualifications from CMC Ludhiana She moved to Australia in 2004 as a GP into the remote and rural town of Coober- Pedy and obtained her fellowship in 2006. She moved to Adelaide in 2008. She works full time as a GP at Paramount Health. She is also an experience Medical educator for the last 15 years. She chaired the SA & NT education and training committee and is currently on the RACGP SA & NT board . She has served on the national expert committee for pre-fellowship training .She is also a panel member for PSR. She is passionate about training young doctors and spends most of her time helping young trainees negotiate the GP training and Exams.
