Mr. David Pearl has more than twenty four years of public sector consulting experience, with over twenty years dedicated to serving international organizations. In his current role, Mr. Pearl is a Senior Director with Evolver, Inc. Previously, he was a partner with SharpEntity LLC. Prior to SharpEntity, Mr. Pearl led Grant Thornton’s International and Development Organization’s account team. In this role, Mr. Pearl has lead client responsibility for the US Agency for International Development, US Department, Department of State, Millennium Challenge Corporation, World Bank, United Nations and other multi-lateral development organizations. Mr. Pearl combines his expertise in accounting and financial management with information technology and analytics to solve complex challenges.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Mr. Pearl held senior leadership positions in the international practices of Deloitte/BearingPoint (KPMG) and PricewaterhouseCoopers. For these organizations, Mr. Pearl led many challenging projects for international organizations including deployment of the US Agency for International Development’s financial management system to its headquarters and over 70 missions. Mr. Pearl also supported the Millennium Challenge Corporation when it was first established by defining the financial management, internal controls, and performance management procedures for the organization. He also led strategy and risk management programs for the World Bank and the Department of State.
Mr. Pearl holds an MBA in Finance from the George Washington University and a post master’s degree in information technology. He completed an undergraduate in Finance from Virginia Tech and completed the accounting curriculum at the University of Virginia’s continuing education program. In addition, Mr. Pearl completed an executive leadership program at Yale University.
