Fernando A. Fernandez Mantovani, CGMA, CPA, CIA: is an international public financial management consultant, with more than 36 years of experience in risk management; governance; public financial management and procurement; financial accounting and auditing. Mr. Fernandez Mantovani holds master’s in business administration and accounting, and is a certified public accountant; a certified internal auditor; and holds several professional certifications, including in internal controls - COSO and IFRS. Mr. Fernandez is an experienced professional in public financial management and procurement, who has assessed public financial management and procurement systems in several countries throughout eastern Europe, northern Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean. He has worked in over 26 countries throughout the world. Fernando is a seasoned independent consultant, and the managing partner of Linea International, LLC., firm that he founded in 2010, to provide specialized business and risk consulting advise to public and private companies. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Fernando worked for 20 years with the Inter-American Development Bank. Among the many duties he has performed, he was the Principal Advisor for Strategic Planning and Risk Management; Deputy Auditor General and prior to that Chief of Accounting Policies and Financial Reports. Prior to working for the IADB, Mr. Fernandez was an audit senior manager with the former Price Waterhouse, LLP, where he worked for almost 14 years in Argentina, Paraguay and the U.S. In addition, Fernando was a member of the Audit Advisory Committee of the United Nations Development Programme, position that he occupied since 2007-2011.
