Chenming Ran is a second year MPP student at Georgetown University and the vice president for East Asian Policy Association, a student organization at McCourt. Her policy interests mainly include technology, international trade and financial services. She is currently interning at the World Bank Benchmarking Infrastructure Group where she developed her research interests in PPPs. She has also been studied policy issues of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence through her regular school curriculum since this fall semester. Graduating in 2020, Chenming is currently working on her master thesis about digitalization and financial inclusion with a country-level econometric analysis. In the future, she hopes to continue to explore financial development and tech-related policy issues in the field of international development. Prior to coming to Georgetown, she received her BA in Economics from Soka University of America, California.
