Kristin Bailey-Wallace, LMSW is an Associate Professor at the School of Social Work at Stephen F. Austin State University, serving in the roles of educator, advisor, and mentor for students in the undergraduate social work program. Prior practice experience in the medical field includes hospice, rehabilitation, long term care, dialysis, bereavement, and rural health services. Kristin serves in leadership roles with NAMI Deep East Texas, the SASW organization for BSW students, and the National Rural Social Work Caucus. Current research and service projects emphasize rural community needs assessments, mental health, substance use, recovery, disability, and access to care.
