Cherhonda Brown, LMSW, LCDC, is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at Stephen F. Austin State University. She has worked for 31 years at the Local Mental Health Authority in Tyler, Texas. She has experience with children, individuals with disabilities, crisis situations, inpatient group therapy, individuals struggling with substance use, and those involved with the county the county jail. Her research interests are leadership in rural areas and mental health.
