For the past 9 years she has dedicated her time around East Texas as the Director of community education for Oceans Behavioral Hospital in Lufkin, Texas. Following the legacy of her mother of helping those who suffer with mental illnesses. Alana has a heart of gold and helps anyone in whom she comes in contact with.
Alana is married to her best friend Mr. Van Robertson and the ZaZa to a beautiful baby girl, Harper.
Alana is also the CEO and Founder of the new and upcoming Nac Safe Place. Nac Safe Place is a Non Clinical office providing a Safe Haven for those who are struggling with depression and thoughts of self harm. Offering a Place where they can come and speak to volunteer counselors and get the support needed GOD gave Alana a vision to put on a Suicide awareness walk in the East Texas area after seeing the increase in deaths by suicide. she went to work and created a committee of leaders in Nacogdoches to help that vision come to past. Out of that “Nac Safe Place” was born. Nac Safe Place culpepper says “ it’s a place where you are someone and have the feeling that you are never alone”. Giving the message that “It’s ok to not be ok” Alana will dedicate herself to breaking down the walls and stigma of Mental Illness in this country.
