Jennifer Sturm is a dedicated educational professional pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology at Stephen F. Austin State University. With over two decades of diverse experience in academic roles, Jennifer has established a strong foundation in administration and special education. Jennifer holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler (2003) and a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from Stephen F. Austin State University (1998). Additionally, she possesses a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Special Education and Early Childhood, from Stephen F. Since 2003, Jennifer has held various certifications, including being a Principal (EC – 12) and holding certificates in Elementary Self-Contained and Generic Special Education. Her extensive professional journey includes roles such as a School Psychology Doctoral Intern at Stephen F. Austin State University, Special Education Director at Anderson County Special Education Co-op, and Special Education Coordinator for the Region 7 Education Service Center. In addition to these leadership positions, Jennifer served as a Special Education Liaison with the Texas Education Agency while at Region 7. She held several positions within the Tyler Independent School District, including Principal, Assistant Principal, Instructional Facilitator, and Teacher.
