Allison Parrish, MA, LPC-S, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with 25 years of experience in counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health training. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and is licensed in Texas and Illinois. Currently, Allison provides outpatient counseling for youth in crisis. Throughout her career, she has worked with diverse populations, including foster children, individuals with disabilities, and survivors of trauma.
Previously, she served as Training Director at Burke, where she developed mental health training programs and served as Burke's Suicide Prevention Coordinator. For a decade, she directed a Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, overseeing suicide assessment and prevention services across twelve counties. She has managed state and federal grant projects to expand mental health services in both Texas and Illinois. With over two decades in community outreach and education, Allison has trained numerous professionals and the public on mental health awareness, trauma-informed care, and suicide prevention. Driven by a commitment to mental health advocacy, crisis response, and professional development, she continues to make a lasting impact in the field.
