Dayna Gurley, LCSW-S, CCTS, ACM, is a licensed clinical social worker, educator, and trauma specialist who brings over 15 years of expertise to her mental health private practice, where she works with emergency responders, veterans, and cancer survivors. As the founder of her practice, she dedicates her work to helping individuals heal from trauma, with a special emphasis on working with first responders, leveraging her Emergency Responder and Public Safety Clinician Certification (ERPSCC). In addition to her practice, Dayna is a professor at the University of Houston-Downtown, teaching and mentoring students pursuing careers in social work. She also holds certifications in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), two advanced therapeutic approaches that she integrates to offer specialized care for complex trauma. She is board-certified in Accudetox and certified in neurofeedback. Each of these modalities is generated by her focus on healing individuals from the symptoms of trauma. As an LCSW supervisor, she is committed to developing the next generation of compassionate, skilled social workers. She blends academic and practical knowledge to guide emerging professionals in the field.
