Benedetta is currently a Research Assistant at Politecnico di Torino, where she earned in 2019 his Ph.D. in Energetics in the field of Plasma Physics for medical applications. Interested in challenging subjects, from 2019 her research works moved from Nuclear Medicine to Internal Combustion Engines joining the e3 research group. Her main research topics range now from 3D-CFD simulations aiming at emissions reduction, NVH assessments, and aftertreatment systems characterization. She recently focused her research on the thermal management of battery electric vehicles, along with cost and life cycle assessment, towards decarbonizing the transportation sector through technology neutrality. She is currently involved in the "Spoke 2 - Sustainable Road Vehicle" of the National Center for Sustainable Mobility (MOST) Research Program.
