At what is now the intersection of Main Street and Texas Avenue in Lubbock, Security State Bank and Trust Company opened for business in 1917. In 1925, we changed our charter to become Lubbock National Bank. As the years passed and our hometown grew, Lubbock's bank grew with it. In 1978, we chartered Southwest Lubbock National Bank to better serve rapidly growing areas of our community. But by 1987, our presence had grown so much throughout Lubbock that we simply dropped the "Southwest." Today, we have multiple branches in Lubbock, and have extended our reach to serve customers in Austin and College Station.
Lubbock National Bank has been a proud part of Texas banking since the early 1900s, in times of war and economic hardship, as well as prosperity and abundance. While the world around us has seemed chaotic at times, LNB has always provided our customers a trusted place to manage and grow their hard-earned money.
Our mission states that we are "committed to your success." That's far more than just a catchy phrase. It's our way of life.
