Programme Thematic Areas
a) Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM): Promote the efficient development and management of natural resources to meet the basic and livelihood needs of the target communities. IWRM is a broad-based approach and includes a wide range of activities mainly in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Sector.
b) Inclusive Education (IE): Ensuring equal access and sustained provision of quality learning opportunities for children with barriers to learning.
c) Resilience & Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR): IAS-K takes a deliberate effort to contribute to environmental stewardship and helps the communities develop resilience towards shocks and stresses in their own environment.
d) Civil Society Development (CSD): Building the capacity of the local organization and organized communities to be advocates for the least privileged while aiming at strengthening their participation in humanitarian interventions, poverty reduction and sustainable development initiatives.
e) Humanitarian Intervention: Providing material or logistical assistance to a group of people in need of aid during man-made disasters, natural disasters, conflicts, violence, poverty, etc.
