Offering Utah financial education outreach is among the many ways Zions Bank creates value for communities across the state. Every April, Zions Bank sends bankers into schools to teach thousands of kindergarten through 12th-grade students their financial ABCs in honor of National Teach Children to Save Day, an annual outreach event sponsored by the American Bankers Association. Additionally, bankers help high school students learn about the perks and pitfalls of credit on National Get Smart About Credit Day every October. Since 2002, Zions Bank employees have volunteered to teach nearly 200,000 K-12 students about money-related topics.
Zions Bank is Utah’s oldest financial institution and is the only local bank with a statewide distribution of branches, operating 95 full-service branches. Zions Bank also operates 25 full-service branches in Idaho and one in Jackson, Wyo. In addition to offering a wide range of traditional banking services, Zions Bank is also a leader in small business lending and has ranked as the No. 1 lender of U.S. Small Business Administration 7(a) loans in Utah for the past 27 consecutive years. Founded in 1873, Zions Bank has been serving the communities of Utah for more than 145 years. Additional information is available at www.zionsbank.com.
