There’s long been a stigma about discussing menopause and the ways it affects women in the workplace. Menopause symptoms like brain fog, lack of sleep, and hot flashes can be very difficult for women to navigate at work, and they often occur during the peak of women’s careers. Genentech introduced our menopause benefit because we believe it’s time to eliminate cultural and societal barriers that prevent women from getting the care they deserve and to help ensure we’re providing the support they need to thrive personally and professionally.
