As founder and president of Rochester’s Cornerstone Group (RCG) and Cornerstone Property Managers, Roger Brandt’s experience with his team has made an impact in many of the real estate sectors in Upstate New York. Having formed RCG in 1990, Roger has developed numerous types of commercial and residential real estate since then. Over the last 35 years, RCG has developed in excess of $550 million in affordable housing, including both new construction and rehabilitation projects, urban, rural and suburban, ranging from townhomes, apartments and single-family homes, built as family and senior apartment communities.
RCG’s affordable housing projects, under Roger’s leadership, include award-winning mixed finance and income projects across Upstate New York and in Pennsylvania. The development of industrial and office parks, historic office building renovations, New York’s first wetland mitigation bank, and large multi-use residential communities, exhibit the Company’s varied real estate expertise.
Cornerstone Property Managers manages 3800+ units of affordable housing comprised of both RCG developed properties and 3rd party management throughout NYS.
It is through the real estate and community networks that he has created a reputation with Rochester’s Cornerstone Group to be able to succeed at selling, managing, developing and leasing properties. Roger has been involved in the Rochester community for many years, having served on numerous boards, including terms as Chairman and President for not-for-profit entities. He firmly believes in active involvement in the community to help build a stronger region.
