Due to the current situation with COVID-19, this course will be covering “1 - 1 Activities from Everywhere!,” infection protocols specific to the Activities Department, care planning for depression/mood state, and guidance on what Activities can expect during current surveys.
Live webinars will be M-F 9am - 11am - all other webinars will be offered via a link and you can watch at your convenience throughout the week.
Description: This class is designed to provide the necessary training and required certification for individuals seeking to become Certified Activity Directors in a long term care facility. The course is designed to prepare participants to lead the development, implementation and supervision of activity programs for long term care residents.
Continuing Education Units: Continuing Education Units are not offered for the Activity Director Certification. A Certified Activity Director certificate, however, will be given to all participants at the conclusion of the course.
