The 2019 NCSPP Mid-Winter Conference, Engaging in the Power of Disruption: Leading, Innovating, and Thriving in Our Classrooms, Programs, and Profession, will address how we utilize ourselves as professional psychologists, teachers, and administrators as agents of change within our classrooms, institutions, communities, and profession as a whole. Engaging in positive disruption utilizes wisdom to usher in the future through the courage to create re-conceptualized, informed innovations, and to work at one’s leading edge. The strength and nature of disruption are defined by the value it releases.
The 2019 Mid-Winter NCSPP conference programming will focus on positive disruption and its impact on innovation and leadership within our profession. The conference aim is to facilitate a comprehensive exploration and re-envisioning of how our programs and profession can create dynamic and thriving classrooms and programs through how we teach, train, and disseminate the science of psychology in today’s climate.
