The goal of this course is to provide a well-rounded understanding of what BigFix is, how it works, what are the moving parts, how to Administrate BigFix and how to be a successful user with BigFix. This course will provide you the tools to install BigFix in a Windows or Linux environment. Review “What are the first steps after the install that are a “must” do.” How to enable your environment to know what sites computers should be subscribed to. What is a “domain”, a “site”. How to navigate the BigFix client and the WebUI. How to create an Asset Discovery and review the data returned. How to create a software distribution package. How to patch an endpoint. How to install a BigFix agent locally and remotely. Just to name few things in this 4 1/2 day class.
