VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
The goal of this symposium is to expose health professionals and scientists with up-to-date information on Sickle Cell Disease.

Video Access

Following the program, all registrants will have access to lecture video recordings for ONE month.


Learning Objectives

1.  Identify the benefits and limitations of currently available therapies for sickle cell disease, including newly approved agents.

2.  Discuss how both allogeneic stem cell transplantation and developing stem cell therapies can halt the progression of sickle cell disease-related complications and potentially improve long-term survival.

3.  Develop an approach for identifying patients who are candidates for stem cell therapies and then collaborating with experienced transplantation centers.


Target Audience
The course targets health professionals in the broad fields of primary care, pediatrics, geriatrics, neurology, psychology, psychiatry, and cardiology, as well as scientists. This course is open to medical doctors, researchers, nurses, physician assistants, fellows.
