Overview: This two-day symposium will provide an evidence-based overview of the current state of emergency department pain management and discussion of advances, challenges, and controversies of managing acute and chronic pain in the emergency department. The symposium will include a series of lectures, interactive small group sessions, panel discussions, and practical sessions.

Accreditation: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American College of Emergency Physicians and Massachusetts College of Emergency Physicians. The American College of Emergency Physicians is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
