Smart Salt Use for Businesses
Smart Salt Use for Businesses
Connecting businesses with information and funding to save on salt
May 30, 2018  ·  Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District

Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District has grants available to help businesses reduce salt use, and invites you to learn about these opportunities.

Inefficient salt use could be costing your business extra money and time on a resource that literally goes down the drain. All the salt used to soften water and melt ice ends up in local fresh water bodies, so using too much salt is hard on the environment, too.

This free session on how your business can reduce its salt use will include:

  • Recommendations for practices that increase softener efficiency and reduce road salt application.
  • Funding opportunities for projects that reduce salt.
  • Success stories from other local businesses.
  • Q&A and networking with Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District and water treatment experts.

Exhibitors represented in the networking sessions will include Hellenbrand, Culligan Total Water, Watertech of America, SaltCo, HydroFLOW Midwest, AirWater, Wisconsin Salt Wise and more.

This event will take place in the district's Maintenance Facility, enter through Gate 3 off of Moorland Road. If you cannot make it in person, this session will also be available via webinar.
