YOU ARE INVITED
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) Data Team would like to welcome our community of data professionals to the 2nd Annual Data Summit January 31 - February 1, 2023. The event will be held in-person at the Nampa Civic Center as well as virtually for those that cannot travel. Please note that this event is FREE to attend for anyone who works for or with ITD. All are welcome to attend.
The two-day Data Summit will include intense discussion on the challenges of data collection/management and ultimately how we gain value from ITD's data. Data has become one of the most important assets of our organization and is one of the most significant investments the department makes annually. In an effort to truly understand the potential strategic uses of and value of our data, we need to assess its origins, uses; and outcomes. This conference is intended to open dialogue within our agency and its users to determine data value. We encourage sharing successes and (yes) failures; discuss how data can be used/shared with others; and consider innovative ideas. There will be plenty of time for networking as well.
AGENDA TOPICS
This Summit will provide attendees with a variety of topics including a Keynote from James Graham from Cyclomedia. We are excited to share that we have the following topics and speakers (final agenda coming soon):
MEALS & REFRESHMENTS
The Summit will be all day on Tuesday and Wednesday. Refreshments, breakfasts, and lunch will be provided on Tuesday/Wednesday. ITD staff may not claim these meals for reimbursement.
