The Illinois Association of Water Pollution Control Operators and the Illinois Water Environment Association are seeking individuals interested in presenting at the 2027 Illinois Wastewater Professionals Conference. Potential speakers must submit an application describing their presentation in sufficient detail to allow the evaluation of the proposed topic.

The Conference is scheduled for March 15 - 18, 2027 at the Embassy Suites in East Peoria, Illinois.

Presentations must be submitted through this form and description should be 400 words or less and encompass the scope of the presentation. For questions contact IWPC Program Committee Chair, Christopher Buckley.

Selection is based on an evaluation of submittals by the IWPC Program Committee. The committee considers quality, originality of subject, technical content, and significance to understanding and improving the water environment. Diversity is strongly valued as we believe it increases the value of the program and the overall event. All interested presenters, including young professionals, are encouraged to apply. Presentations that are overtly marketing products or promote a single or proprietary technology will not be accepted for the Technical Program.

Deadline for submitting is Friday, September 18, 2026. Accepted speakers will be notified by November 20, 2026. Thank you in advance for your presentation submission!
