The first-ever Collective Summit is a premier gathering of leaders, organizations, and businesses committed to building community, making a tangible impact, and shaping effective strategies for the times we are in.

At The Collective Sum, we will tap into the regenerative spirit within our communities, get inspired by the genius of Black-led change, and focus on the possibilities before us.

What to Expect

  • Deep learning and practical tools: Engage in advanced, beyond-the-basics learning opportunities led by best-in-class practitioners. Attendees will gain actionable insights and strategies to envision, protect and advance racial justice and community transformation
  • A multi-sensory, immersive, and intentional experience: Participate in a thoughtfully designed event that involves attendees in meaningful, transformative experiences. From guided learning tracks to shared cohort moments, every aspect is crafted for maximum impact. The event engages all five senses and nourishes the heart, body, and mind. Attendees will leave feeling inspired, joyful, connected, and re-energized for the work ahead.
  • Opportunities to build authentic connections: Enjoy unstructured time to connect, reflect, and build relationships in a welcoming, communal atmosphere. The event fosters a sense of belonging, unity, and mutual care.
  • Celebration of leadership and community: Be part of a "family reunion" and "homecoming" that centers and celebrates Black-led change. This is a space to honor the brilliance, resilience, and innovation of Black leaders and leaders of color while shaping a collective vision for the future.

Registration FAQ

  • Will there be a virtual ticket option?
    Unfortunately, virtual tickets are not available this year. 
  • How long will it take to complete the registration form?
    We estimate it will take six minutes or less to complete.
  • What are the Registration Rates? Is there an Early Bird rate?
    Yes. Early Bird registration is available at a $50 discount.

    • General Rate | $359 

Early Bird registration rates are available through September 30, 2025

General registration rates will begin once Early Bird tickets are sold out or on October 1, 2025 - whichever comes first, and are available through October 31, 2025, pending availability. 

  •  I'm a speaker—should I register through this site?
    Speakers should not register through this site. Please follow the registration instructions provided directly by the event team.
  • Is any lodging covered in the registration cost?
    Lodging is not included in the registration cost. Unless specifically arranged with the Black Collective Foundation MN, you are responsible for booking and covering any necessary lodging expenses.
  • Are scholarships available?
    Yes. 
    A limited number of scholarships are available to help reduce financial barriers to participation. Support may be requested for full or partial coverage of registration, lodging, transportation, and other related expenses. Requests will be reviewed on a rolling basis and notified within three weeks of submission. Apply for a scholarship

    You can also donate to the Scholarship Fund. Please cite "The Collective Sum Scholarships" in the comment area. 

  • Will there be any COVID-19 Protocols?
    Black Collective Foundation MN is committed to the well-being of our guests, participants, and staff. We are watching local, state, and federal public health guidelines, as well as venue-specific requirements. We encourage all attendees to prioritize their health and help support the well-being of our community.
    Masks are not required, but will be available at the Registration & Hospitality Desk for anyone who prefers to wear one.

    If you feel unwell, have tested positive for COVID-19, are awaiting COVID-19 test results, or have had close contact with someone who is ill or has tested positive, please do not attend.

  • If I register and I am no longer able to attend, what are my choices?
    Substitution: If you are no longer able to attend, The Collective Sum may allow your ticket to be transferred. To request a change, please email leadership@mnblackcf.org and include “The Collective Sum Substitution” in the subject line. Since we cannot guarantee on-site substitutions, please contact us prior to any travel.

    Cancellation
    : If you cancel your registration on or before September 30, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee minus a 10% processing fee. If you cancel your registration between October 1 and October 24, 50% of your registration will be refunded. After October 24, no refunds will be provided. All cancellation requests must be made by sending an email to leadership@mnblackcf.org. Please include "The Collective Sum Cancellation" in the subject line.
