Access Services in Libraries, Inc.
Delivering conference services, producing educational opportunities, building community

Access Services in Libraries, Inc. (ASiL) is a 501c3 not for profit organization with the purpose of providing educational opportunities for individuals in the access services area of librarianship through organized conferences and other training services.  The sole purpose of these activities is to provide professional development for individuals in the Access Services field.  This will include opportunities for viewing presentations in various formats, invited and peer-reviewed speaking opportunities, and facilitated collaborations and community-building, primarily through the annual Access Services Conference, held in November of each year.  We serve the academic library community, but ASiL welcomes all in and outside of the academic Access Services field to participate and learn.
