PRRF Family Connection Conference
April 18, 2026  ·  Oakland Center at Oakland University AND VIRTUAL

Each year, the Pediatric Retinal Research Foundation's (PRRF) Family Advisory Committee hosts a conference to bring together individuals living with or impacted by rare retinal diseases.

Our annual conference brings together families, researchers, and world-renowned clinicians for the only conference dedicated exclusively to pediatric retinal diseases. This hybrid event features a live Q&A session, panel discussion, and a compelling keynote presentation. Guests will also have opportunities to connect with other people living with rare retinal diseases, parents, caregivers and professionals. This year’s focus will be on assistive technology and AI, an exciting and rapidly evolving area of hope for our community. At its heart, the conference brings families together to share experiences, find strength, and build lasting connections.

Planning to bring your children to the in-person event? Don’t worry! We’ll have volunteers available to lead children in fun and educational activities, allowing adults to fully engage in the conference sessions.
