Atlantic Coast Retina Club / Macula 2027

Join retina specialists from across the country for three days of dynamic case discussions, cutting-edge CME presentations, and unparalleled networking, featuring more than 40 internationally recognized faculty and leaders in retinal care.

Tradition & Innovation
For more than 50 years, ACRC has been one of the nation's premier retina meetings, bringing together retina specialists, ophthalmologists, optometrists, researchers, fellows, residents, and industry partners to exchange ideas, discuss challenging cases, and explore the latest advances in retinal care. This three-day meeting combines the interactive tradition of ACRC with a world-class CME program featuring more than 40 internationally recognized faculty and leaders in retina with up to 16.0 hours of CME and Optometric CE available.
Whether you are an experienced clinician, early-career physician, fellow, resident, researcher, or industry partner, ACRC / Macula 2027 offers an outstanding opportunity to learn, collaborate, and connect with colleagues from across the retina community.

Engage & Learn

Thursday & Friday | Atlantic Coast Retina Club (ACRC)
Participate in rapid-fire presentations of challenging and thought-provoking retinal cases presented by trainees and faculty. These highly interactive sessions foster lively discussion, practical learning, and the exchange of diverse clinical perspectives.
Saturday | Macula 2027
Experience a full day of expert-led CME programming featuring more than 40 internationally renowned clinicians, surgeons, and physician-scientists. Sessions will highlight the latest advances in retinal imaging, artificial intelligence, pharmacologic therapies, clinical trials, and surgical innovation, while providing practical insights into the diagnosis and management of complex retinal diseases.

Connect & Collaborate
Continue the conversation beyond the scientific program through networking events designed to reconnect with colleagues, engage with leaders in the field, and build lasting professional relationships. Evening social events provide the perfect setting to exchange ideas and strengthen connections across the retina community.

Learning Objectives:

The Atlantic Coast Retina Club (ACRC) and Macula 2027 are designed to provide practicing retina specialists, comprehensive ophthalmologists with an interest in retinal disease, vitreoretinal surgeons, and ophthalmology trainees with an update on advances in the diagnosis and management of retinal and macular diseases.

On Friday, January 8, Atlantic Coast Retina Club will allow retina specialists to deliver fast-paced, interactive case presentations. They will also engage in rapid-fire discussions of complex, unusual, and emerging retinal cases and provide practical insight into evolving trends, clinical challenges, and treatment decisions.

On Saturday, January 9, Macula 2027 will bring together leading retina specialists to examine the latest innovations in retinal disease detection and imaging, as well as pharmacologic and surgical therapies. The program will emphasize current clinical evidence, emerging treatment strategies, and practical approaches to the management of macular and retinal disease.

Topics will include:

  • Wet AMD: Today and Tomorrow
  • What’s Coming for Dry AMD?
  • Innovative Approaches to Retinal Vascular Disease
  • State of the Art: Diagnosis and Treatment of Uveitis and Tumors
  • Advances in Vitreoretinal Surgery
  • Ocular Imaging: What Can We See Now?

Upon completion of this course, participants will have:

  • Evaluated emerging diagnostic and imaging technologies;
  • Reviewed advances in medical and surgical management of retinal disease;
  • Applied evidence-based approaches to complex retinal conditions;
  • Examined evolving therapeutic strategies and clinical trial data; and
  • Discussed innovations that will shape the future of retina care
