February 14, 2025  ·  Webinar

Program Overview:

The term artificial intelligence (AI) often elicits a vision of the extraterrestrial; however, AI is connected to many of the things we do in everyday life.  In simple terms, AI is the use of technology to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence.  AI has the potential to revolutionize healthcare by offering providers more options in diagnosing and treating patients.  Although some technological advances have demonstrated improved patient outcomes, AI does not come without problems.  Establishing processes to evaluate and implement new technologies is a critical component of managing risks and safeguarding patients.

  • Understand the current role of AI in healthcare and potential future roles
  • Describe potential AI-related risks to patients and providers
