Convergent Science, in partnership with the SAE International Torino Section, is delighted to announce the 2026 CONVERGE Applications Workshop: Solutions for Low-Carbon Transportation. This one-day event will focus on innovative, state-of-the-art solutions to reduce carbon emissions from transportation systems. Technical presentations and business-focused keynotes will offer insight into the research activities underway in academia and industry, both in the Turin area and around the globe, to develop the next generation of sustainable transportation technologies.
The CONVERGE Applications Workshop will be held on June 11 at the Politecnico di Torino - Energy Center. Our event will take place after the CO2 Reduction for Transportation Systems Conference – The Road to Decarbonization on June 09–10 at the same venue.
Registration closes on June 3, 2026. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!

DAY 3 | CONVERGE Applications Workshop: Solutions for Low-Carbon Transportation
Tuesday, June 11, 2026
The CONVERGE Applications Workshop is a one-day event focused on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling of low-carbon transportation technologies, including electric motors, batteries, hydrogen, and other alternative fuels. Our lineup of technical experts will showcase the results of their latest simulation studies and highlight the advances they are making in developing efficient, low-emissions propulsion systems. Furthermore, our own Convergent Science engineers will demonstrate the benefits of CONVERGE for addressing challenging engineering problems such as battery thermal runaway, electric motor cooling, and alternative fuel combustion.
Following the technical program, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in technical tours of Politecnico di Torino and Dumarey Automotive Italia S.p.A test facilities.
