The CTCNM Summit is dedicated to advancing the practice of midwifery, fostering professional growth, and improving the quality of maternal and neonatal care across Texas.

Our theme this year, “Together We Rise: Advancing Midwifery in Texas,” reflects our commitment to collaboration, shared learning, and advocacy in support of the continued development of midwifery knowledge, skills, and leadership. The Summit brings together midwives, students, educators, and advocates for two days of education, connection, and collective progress.

CTCNM/ACNM Members

Non-Members

  • Early Bird Registration: $280 (Ends March 1, 2026)

  • General Admission: $325

  • Student Registration: $150

Early Bird pricing is available for a limited time and will automatically close once the Early Bird period ends.

Pre-Conference Workshops (Friday, April 17, 2026)

Pre-conference workshops take place the day before the Summit and require separate registration. Attendance at a workshop does not include Summit registration.

Student Registration Eligibility

The Student Registration rate is reserved for individuals who meet all of the following criteria at the time of registration:

  1. Are actively enrolled in an accredited midwifery or advanced practice nursing program or a state-licensed midwifery education program.

  2. Are actively participating in the required clinical or apprenticeship component of their program.

  3. Are currently progressing toward licensure or credentialing.

  4. Provide verification of enrollment (school email, documentation from program, or confirmation from preceptor if applicable).

The student rate is intended to support learners engaged in structured educational and clinical training whose ability to work is limited by active program requirements.

Individuals enrolled in coursework only, without active clinical or apprenticeship participation, do not qualify for the student rate.

CTCNM reserves the right to verify eligibility and adjust registration tiers if criteria are not met.

This session explores the RNFA role for APRNs and CNMs, including scope, competencies, and perioperative responsibilities. Includes hands-on training in suturing, knot-tying, wound closure, and postoperative care.
This workshop reviews perineal anatomy, laceration assessment, and evidence-based repair techniques, along with local anesthesia and suture selection. Includes hands-on simulation using silicone models to practice repair skills and clinical application.

This session reviews menopausal symptoms, use of the MRS, and evidence-based hormonal and non-hormonal management strategies, including testosterone therapy.
This session reviews nutrigenetics in pregnancy, including gene–nutrient interactions and their implications for supplementation, risk stratification, and clinical care.
