Agenda

This workshop is divided into three weekly, 2-hour sessions, with the first of the series beginning August 12, 2026:

Session 1: Crafting a Future Vision

This session will help you clarify your vision and values, imagine a “good ordinary day” and draft your first vision statement. We’ll help you translate your vision into concrete goals for home, relationships, and supports, strengthen and sustain the plan, while mapping out allies and resources.

Session 2: Discovering Purpose and Valued Roles

In this session, we’ll explore what gives your family member meaning and purpose. We’ll identify their unique gifts, interests, and strengths, and identify opportunities where they can contribute, belong, and be known for who they are.

Session 3: Building Relationships and Creating Connection

This final session will wrap up by helping you strengthen the relationships and networks that bring your vision to life. We’ll explore how you can build circles of support and cultivate a community where your family member is truly known, valued, and included.

Registration Details

Please note that space is limited. Each workshop series is capped at 25 participants to ensure we can provide the best possible support to every family.

Additional workshop dates will be released every month until December 2026. We will send out reminders as new sessions become available for registration.

  • Series Commitment: Registration is for the entire three-part series. Individual session registration is not available.

  • Full Attendance: Please make sure you are available for all three dates in the workshop and can attend each session. Since the sessions build on one another, we ask that you please commit to the full three-part series.

  • Waitlist: Once all the available Cohorts have filled, a "Join Waitlist" option will appear at the top of this event page. This will ensure you are notified if a space becomes available. If a space does not become available, we encourage you to register for a future workshop date once they are released. If you are already on our mailing list, you will be emailed when new Cohorts are released. If you are not currently on our mailing list, please join by visiting this link.

  • Cancellations: If your availability changes for any reason, please be sure to cancel your registration via the “Manage Registration” link at the bottom of the event page at least 1 week before the first session so we can offer your spot to another family.
