Join us for the 2nd Annual Mike Toth Center Symposium on Precision Image-Guided Surgery, taking place on Friday, July 17. This year's program will have a special emphasis on Head and Neck Cancers, and is arranged to precede the 12th annual meeting of the American Head and Neck Cancer Society in Boston. The symposium brings together leading Head and Neck cancer surgeons, engineers, and translational scientists to highlight recent advances in image-guided approaches for improving surgical precision and patient outcomes, and will feature experts from academic medicine and research institutions who are driving innovation at the interface of surgery, molecular imaging, and technology development.
Designed for surgeons, scientists, and trainees interested in image-guided interventions, the program offers a comprehensive and interactive agenda, including:
- Clinical Perspectives Session, featuring leaders in head and neck surgery and oncology discussing current challenges and opportunities in precision surgery
- Imaging Probes and Chemistry Session, highlighting advances in targeted contrast agents, contrast mechanisms and molecular probe development for intraoperative use, with special emphasis on fluorescence lifetime as a contrast mechanism
- Imaging Techniques Session, covering state-of-the-art optical and computational imaging approaches for real-time surgical guidance, with special emphasis on fluorescence lifetime imaging
- A live demonstration and facility tour, providing hands-on exposure to emerging imaging technologies
The symposium offers a unique opportunity to engage with experts across disciplines, explore cutting-edge tools and methodologies, and foster collaborations that advance the future of precision image-guided surgery.
