2026 NCPA Annual Conference
The Northern California Power
Agency (NCPA) is pleased to host its 2026 Annual Conference on September 23-25
at the Everline Hotel and Spa in Olympic Valley, California. Come join us and

sector is being shaped today, with highlights of utility initiatives that
support the continued provision of safe, reliable, and affordable

CEC Vice Chair Gunda joins us to look ahead at California’s changing electricity needs and the resources and infrastructure required to meet them.
Stacey Crowley will discuss what the Regional Organization for Western Energy (ROWE) means for California’s utilities, and implications for the buildout of generation/transmission infrastructure to meet the explosive growth in computational demand.
Howard Gugel will share the results of a NERC survey exploring how AI is being used to support electric utility operations. He will discuss NERC's role in overseeing AI deployment, and separate myths/facts surrounding this technology.
Lawrence Lingbloom, long-time consultant in the California State Legislature, will share his thoughts about the 2026 California Legislative session and what's next for key energy and environmental initiatives, including impacts on CEQA.
