Ohio Retail Crime Summit
Coordinating Ohio's Response to Organized Retail Crime (ORC)
Join us on Thursday, August 27 for Ohio Organized Retail Crime Summit that the Fawcett Center at The Ohio State University. The summit is a partnership of The Ohio Council of Retail Merchants, Ohio Attorney General's Office, Ohio Regional Organized Crime Coalition, and the Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association.
This summit brings together law enforcement, prosecutors, Attorney General staff, ORC task forces, and retail loss prevention professionals to share intelligence, strengthen law enforcement strategies, and drive meaningful results against organized retail crime.
The summit is pending approval for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Continuing Professional Training for law enforcement.
The summit will focus on:
- Collaboration--connecting law enforcement, prosecutors, and retail leaders across Ohio
- Strategy-sharing best practices and building proactive enforcement approaches
- Data & Intelligence--leveraging data and technology to identify trends and disrupt criminal networks
- Accountability--strengthening legal tools and partnerships to hold offenders accountable
