The Lancaster Chapter of Credit Unions would like to thank you for considering volunteering at the upcoming Financial Reality Fair at Phoenix Academy in the School District of Lancaster. This event will host approximately 120 high schoolers on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026.

This will be a fantastic day of engaging with students and helping them learn about budgeting, personal finance, and real-world decision making. Many describe it as a “real-life version” of The Game of Life. As a volunteer, you’ll guide students in making financial choices based on their assigned career and salary.

Volunteer Details

• Date & Time: Wednesday, April 29th, 2026 | 7:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
• Location: Phoenix Academy, 630 Rockland St, Lancaster, PA 17602
  (Parking details will be shared closer to the event)

What to Expect

• Review and sign up for an available volunteer spot at one of the life stations (subject to change based on availability).
• Training for your assigned station will be provided on the morning of the event.
• Have fun! The more you engage with the students, the more rewarding the experience will be—for them and for you.

What to Bring

• A valid ID (required to enter the school)
• A bottle of water (recommended)
• Breakfast will be provided
