Spend the day with Island Readers & Writers and author Rob Harrell as we dive into the book Popcorn! 

Andrew’s just trying to make it through Picture Day, which is easier said than done when it seems like the whole world is out to get him. A hilarious and moving story about coping with anxiety on a day when everything is going wrong.

During the program, homeschoolers will step into Andrew’s shoes and experience a “day at school” through interactive rotations. 

Everyone will also have the opportunity to create their own “crazy day” comics with Rob.

Important: Books must be picked up at the library in advance so you can read them before the event. Everyone will be notified by email when and where books will be available for pickup. Please bring your book with you on the day of the event if you would like it signed by Rob. We also encourage everyone to come prepared with a few questions for the author! Please pack your child's lunch and children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
