Stressor Stroll: Eyes on Ergonomics is a one-day hands-on ergonomics workshop that teaches participants how to identify ergonomic stressors in real work environments. Through a brief classroom overview and a structured facility walk-through, attendees learn the fundamentals of ergonomics, recognize common risk factors that contribute to musculoskeletal injuries, and evaluate improvement options using the hierarchy of controls. Participants leave with documented observations and practical insights they can use to support injury prevention, operational improvements, and informed risk reduction decisions.  

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course learners will be able to:

  • Define ergonomics, identify its benefits, and recognize the stressors that can lead to injuries
  • Appreciate how ergonomic stressors affect employees and business metrics
  • Identify ergonomic stressors during a structured walk-through of their facility
  • Understand the common types and hierarchy of ergonomic controls

Meals:
