Well-intentioned, supportive strategies can keep clients comfortable… but also stuck. This interactive session explores the balance between validation and forward movement, highlighting how participation in therapy is a learned skill.
Many clients report a “good childhood” yet struggle with anxiety, disconnection, and relational distress. This presentation explores emotional neglect as an often-missed form of trauma and teaches clinicians how to identify, conceptualize, and treat.
