Breakfast Seminar: Highlights from the AFCC 63rd Annual Conference

Join us for June's Utah AFCC (Association of Family & Conciliation Courts) breakfast seminar, where we'll provide an engaging overview of the AFCC 63rd Conference held May 27-30, in Seattle. This month’s breakfast meeting will spotlight takeaways from several compelling topics and innovative practices presented by leading family law and mental health professionals from around the globe.

Because our breakfast falls on the Juneteenth holiday, we also have an opportunity to reflect on the importance of freedom, justice, dignity, and inclusion — values that align closely with Utah AFCC’s mission and the work we do with families and children.

CONFERENCE TOPICS INCLUDED:

  • High-conflict cases and reducing escalation
  • Parenting coordination / Special Master tools and interventions
  • Technology, phones, tracking, and digital conflict in two-household families
  • Parent-child contact problems and resist/refuse dynamics
  • Domestic violence, coercive control, and litigation abuse
  • Court-involved therapy and therapist records/subpoena issues
  • Interviewing and including children without harming them
  • AI and family law practice

We've invited several Utah AFCC family law and mental health professionals who attended the conference to share what they learned, and we'd love to have you join us!
