2026 Health Literacy Research Conference

2026 Health Literacy Research Conference

October 19, 2026

The Annual Health Literacy Research Conference (HARC) is the leading interdisciplinary meeting dedicated to advancing the science of health literacy. Each year, it convenes researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and educators from across medicine, public health, the social sciences, communication, and education to share cutting-edge studies, methods, and interventions that shape how health information is understood and used. HARC provides a rigorous, research-focused forum that emphasizes measurement, evaluation, and evidence-based approaches while fostering collaboration and mentorship, particularly for early-career investigators. By bridging research and practice, the conference serves as a vital platform for strengthening the field of health literacy and translating findings into meaningful improvements in health communication, health care delivery, and public health outcomes.

The 1-Day 2026 conference will be held virtually.
