Israel-Palestine Peace & Solidarity Summit

Israel-Palestine Peace & Solidarity Summit

In the face of ongoing violence, injustice, and the erosion of shared humanity in the Land, we invite you to join us in growing a movement grounded in solidarity, justice, and equality.

August 8 - 9, 2026  ·  Camp Shomria

The Israel-Palestine Peace and Solidarity Summit is an in-person gathering in the Catskills Mountains of Upstate NY. We aim to build community by bringing together young American Jews, Israelis, and Palestinians who are ready to engage in meaningful learning, workshops, and educational panels on real solidarity and action. The conversations happening in our country about Israel/Palestine are often defined by division, fear, and zero-sum thinking. This is a space for those who refuse to accept that the only options are tribalism or silence; for those who believe that justice, dignity, and security for all people of the region are not competing values, but interconnected.

This Summit exists to build a generation of leaders who can hold complexity, build across differences, and advocate for a future of dignity, safety, and self-determination for all people who call Israel/Palestine home.

A different kind of conversation is possible, and it starts here.

What to Expect

Over the course of the summit, taking place from Saturday afternoon to Sunday evening, participants will engage in a carefully designed program to both learn together as well as create post-summit activism plans.

Interactive workshops will equip participants with practical skills in advocacy and community organizing. Participants will work together to develop concrete plans for initiatives they can bring back to their campuses and communities, leaving not just with new relationships, but with the tools and confidence to lead.

Expert panels and speakers will provide insights into realities on the ground as well as methods for changing those realities. Featured speakers will consist of Israelis and Palestinians fighting for change in Israel/Palestine as well as folks based in the US trying to organize our communities towards justice.

The Summit will close with a shared commitment ceremony and concrete next steps for solidarity-centered activism.

Who Can Attend

This Summit is designed for Jewish and Palestinian youth who are committed to justice, equality, dignity, and safety for all Palestinians and Israelis, and who want to join or deepen their involvement in a growing movement for peace, solidarity, and collective liberation.

The Summit will feature two primary tracks: one for high school-aged youth and another geared toward participants in their 20s and 30s.

We welcome participants of all backgrounds, regardless of prior engagement with these issues or alignment with any particular political framework, ideology, or proposed solution.
