The 2026 YPP Symposium is a two-day flagship event bringing together young professionals from across the energy value chain to learn, connect, and help shape the future of energy infrastructure.
Day One focuses on hands-on technical training and professional development, featuring interactive sessions designed to strengthen communication, technical storytelling, and cross-disciplinary collaboration—skills essential for emerging leaders in the energy industry.
Day Two is the main Symposium event, featuring keynote speakers, industry panels, and thought leadership discussions on the macro drivers shaping energy demand, infrastructure development, and the evolving role of pipelines and utilities in powering communities. The day emphasizes connection, collaboration, and engagement across North America.
Together, the two days deliver practical skills, big-picture insight, and meaningful connections for the next generation of energy professionals.

Stephanie Weidman has been with the Railroad Commission of Texas since October 2010. She is responsible for overseeing and directing the Pipeline Safety Field Operations department, within the Oversight and Safety Division.
Michael Moses is director of Business Innovation R&D for TC Energy’s U.S. Pipelines, Commercial Operations team. Michael and his team evaluate innovative ways to leverage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies to satisfy stakeholders.

Dr. Ma is currently Principal Engineer in the Integrity Solutions and Compliance Department at DNV. Her career spans 15 years in the industry, with both consulting and operating companies and a strong focus on pipeline integrity and risk management.
Dr. Hioe is a Principal Engineer in the Labs and Testing Department at DNV. He has 17 years of experience supporting government and commercial customers primarily in the oil and gas, and nuclear power industries.
Joey Bass has been with the Railroad Commission of Texas since April 2007. He is responsible for overseeing and directing the Pipeline Safety Field Operations & Analytics department, also Underground Storage within the Oversight and Safety Division.
Craig currently serves as a Director for Sunland Construction, Inc, as well as on their Board of Directors, after previously holding roles as VP, President, and CEO. His career spans 27 years with Sunland, with a primary focus on major projects.
