2026 East Idaho Highway Safety Workshop

2026 East Idaho Highway Safety Workshop

March 31, 2026  ·  Shoshone Bannock Hotel & Events Center

You are invited to attend the FREE 2026 East Idaho Highway Safety Workshop in Fort Hall, ID, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm!

Real progress in traffic safety happens at the local level. This year, the Idaho Office of Highway Safety is hosting a series of regional workshops designed to meet partners where they are – bringing training, conversation, and collaboration directly into communities across Idaho.

These workshops bring together law enforcement, EMS, local transportation stakeholders, and community partners to focus on shared priorities such as impaired driving, speeding, distracted driving, seat belt use, and pedestrian and bicycle safety. By gathering regionally, participants can connect with nearby partners, strengthen local relationships, and work together on solutions that reflect the unique needs of their communities.

Participants will take part in engaging general sessions and focused breakouts, including program and grant guidance, updates on current initiatives, and practical training led by experienced practitioners. Attendees will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on Idaho’s Strategic Highway Safety Plans.  Make sure to review the agenda for all the session topics including, but not limited to, DRE Refresher Training, Emergency Vehicle Operations (EVOC) Training, and Legal Updates.

Register today to connect with partners in your region and be part of the movement effort to help everyone arrive safely.
