Our adventure begins on the water as we sip local prosecco and take in the beautiful Adriatic coastline. A local historian engages us with the areas fascinating and turbulent history. In Muggia we wander through narrow streets with colorful historic buildings, then take a quick trip to top of the village to tour a medieval church, one of the oldest in the world. This bird’s eye view puts the region in perspective, and you realize why this area was sought after as a trophy. Our day ends in an amazing seaside restaurant where we admire the sunset and enjoy the music of a local musician. **Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Depart: 3:00pm Return: 10:00pm
