Once reserved for Hawaiian Ali'i royalty, the Wailua River is sacred to the Hawaiian people. Your Hawaiian guide will share the rich history and legends of the island. After a guided two mile paddle by kayak up the river, you will hike for 1.5 miles to Uluwehi Falls, where you can swim in the tranquil water before retracing your steps
** Please wear swimwear beneath your clothing and water friendly, sturdy footwear.
**This activity is not recommended for people with physical limitations. You must be in good physical condition to paddle 4 miles and for hiking; the hiking path is a flat trail, but hikers must be sure-footed over the rocks and roots encountered along the trail.
