This program focuses on how to integrate genetics into medical practice.
After Attending This Program You Should Be Able To:
1. Recognize the major signs of a genetic disease, especially those most common in internal medicine.
2. Discern when a patient should be referred to genetic counseling.
3. Describe the clinical utility of different genetic tests
4. Interpret and
utilize genetic test results to guide clinical care.
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and Columbia University.
