Join engineers and researchers from around the world at the 2023 CONVERGE CFD Conference (CFD23)! The theme of CFD23 is “Simulation for Sustainable Technology”. CFD is a powerful tool for designing cleaner, more efficient products and enhancing our understanding of the world around us. CFD23 will feature speakers from a diverse set of fields to present their latest CFD research and discuss how simulation can help us overcome critical challenges in different industries.


TECHNICAL PROGRAM

We are in the midst of a major societal transformation, shifting toward more sustainable technologies, increased automation, and improved outcomes for ourselves and our planet. CFD23 will focus on industries undergoing significant changes, presenting the obstacles those industries are facing and the solutions simulation offers. Join us for technical sessions exploring a variety of key research areas in these industries:

AUTOMOTIVE—On- and off-road vehicles, alternative fuels, advanced engine concepts, batteries, electric motors, fuel cells, motorsports

AEROSPACE—Rockets, gas turbines, alternative fuels, rotating detonation engines

ENERGY—Oil & gas, wind energy, pumps & compressors

BIOMEDICAL—Cardiovascular flows, medical devices, viral aerosols


WORKSHOPS

Advanced modeling techniques are opening the door to new and more accurate simulation studies. At CFD23, our expert Convergent Science engineers will lead workshops covering the latest models and features in CONVERGE CFD software and how to apply them to relevant applications in the automotive, aerospace, energy, and biomedical industries. Please note that you do not need a CONVERGE license to participate in the workshops.


WHEN & WHERE

CFD23 will take place online from September 26–28, 2023. The technical sessions will be available to watch on demand after the live program so attendees in all time zones can participate. To further ensure our event is accessible to all, there are no registration fees associated with the conference!
