The Oklahoma Safety Council is excited to announce the state's largest Safety and Health Conference and Expo, taking place from June 3-5, 2025, at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Conference Center. This premier event offers employers and industry professionals a comprehensive schedule of educational sessions and valuable networking opportunities. As our largest fundraiser of the year, it’s an essential platform for gaining critical knowledge on safety and health issues while promoting a culture of safety across Oklahoma.

The conference will showcase best practices in safety measures, helping companies and individuals protect their employees, clients, and communities.

It all kicks off on Tuesday, June 3, with our annual Golf Tournament.

On Wednesday, June 4, the conference officially begins with a keynote address by William "Jack" Jackson, followed by access to more than 70 exhibitors and a range of educational breakout sessions. Attendees will have the chance to connect with experts who offer resources and product information vital for building robust safety and health management systems.

Thursday, June 5, will feature additional breakout sessions, culminating in a final keynote address by Leslie Osborn, Commissioner, Oklahoma Department of Labor.

This event is an unmatched opportunity to learn, network, and contribute to the ongoing effort to make Oklahoma a safer and healthier place for everyone.

Welding and Cutting Continuation of OSHA 10-Hour General Industry (Others may attend as a stand-alone class, if space allows)
We’re not talking about bullets or flames here. In this session, OSU staff will present their study on a VR-based training framework designed to help workers recognize and avoid line-of-fire hazards—aka struck-by incidents involving objects or equipment.
This presentation will explore common accidents associated with service rigs, key areas for safety inspections, the shortcuts often taken by rig hands, and the engineering controls that can be implemented to mitigate risks and enhance overall safety.
